Sickness and New Job Update

I've been sick since Tuesday night......darn sinuses! I think everyone is getting it or have had it. =( I've been through a box kleenex a day and now my ear hurts. Hope I dont have to go to the dr.

As for my new job its going good! Even though I think thats where I got sick from. Only working 2 days a week - delivering on Mondays and working inside on Tuesdays. Its colder than blue blazes in the back of the store - no heat!!
Oh its at NAPA (Coshocton Automotive), guess I never did say where!! lol

I worked there 11 years ago for 7 years. Started out doing deliveries, then went to counter and the last 2 years was outside sales.
Thats where Scott and I met too! LMAO... I say "I must of had the right parts!" =)
I still remember alot of the account numbers also. Seems like a year ago instead of 11 years and 2 kids later.
Some of the same people are at the shops and were glad to see me back. They said parts are in your blood huh?? Plus I'm alot faster at deliveries than good ole Tom.
I enjoy getting away from the house, yet still get 3 days to do things with the boys at school and still weekends off too.

My brother Kevin got his pin -bar taken off his arm and a hard (green) cast put on last week. He also started therapy on his hand - fingers. His is still off work til the middle of next month though.

I Got A Job....

I start tomorrow at my part-time job! Yipee..... Hope I can wear a shoe! lol my foot tattoo is still pretty tender!!
I'm only working 2 days a week right now, my normal days are Monday & Tuesday (working Thursday & Friday this week though) which is fine with me. I wanted part-time, just to get out of the house and interact with adults. Plus, I'm actually going to making about the same amount in 2 days as I did 5 days babysitting. So thats cool too, and still have a few days to do whatever, help with the boys school - pto, field trips, etc. I enjoy doing those things!!
Wish me Luck going back into the work force after 8 years babysitting. I'm excited but nervous also. =)

I still miss my girls (Ella and Lucy) too.....but its nice to get away from this house!!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone....

We went out lastnight for supper and also got the boys new Heeley's skate shoes (they've been wanting forever!!) Hope they dont get hurt now learning how to use them.
Then this morning Scott and the boys still gave me my froggie, candy and cards. How sweet... My boys are the best!
We also got Tim Horton doughnuts for breakfast too. lol

Breakfast with Drew

This morning Drew and I went to Hardee's for breakfast. 99 cent all you can eat Biscuits and Gravy...yummo!

Tanner spent the night with a friend, so Drew and I had a mother - son breakfast.

Drew ate 4 biscuits with gravy.....big eater. I could only eat 2 biscuits. lol

I really enjoyed spending some alone time with him and I think he did with me too!! He is really growing up to be a fine young man!

Monday Family Bowling Night

We decided to do the family bowling tonight. You get 2 hours bowling and large pizza for $25.00....for up to 6 people bowling. They have good pizza too!!

Got Van Out..... yeee haaa

With the warmer temperatures and 100 lbs rock salt Scott put down yesterday.....He and I finally got our driveway ice chipped enough away this morning to get the van out!!! yipeeee

I see its suppose to be almost 50 all next week, so hopefully it wont get re-frozen again.

This year has been the worst winter for our driveway since we have lived here -(almost 14 yrs). Because of the ice and not snow! =( Gonna need new gravel now too.

Soooo looking forward to Spring!!!!

SOLID ICE DRIVEWAY

WHAT A FREAKIN MESS!!!!!!! AAAH
I JUST WANT TO GET MY VAN OUT...BEEN STUCK IN OUR DRIVEWAY FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS NOW. SCOTT'S BEEN PARKING ON BURT AVENUE, SO WE ATLEAST HAVE ONE VEHICLE TO USE.
NOONE HAS GOTTEN UP OR DOWN IT FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW. 3 FAMILIES SHARE THE DRIVEWAY (UN-OWNED EASEMENT - AS THE REAL ESTATE PROPERTY PAPERS DOESNT EVEN SHOW ONE THERE??) AND ARE HAVING TO PARK ON THE STREET. WE'VE PUT TONS OF ROCK SALT DOWN AND CHIPPED AND CHIPPED AT THE ICE. KEEPING MOST THE BOTTOM CLEAR.
ATLEAST WE GOT THE FRONT STEPS AND SIDEWALK CLEARED OFF FOR THE BOYS TO WALK TO SCHOOL AND USE TO WALK DOWN TO THE JEEP.
HOPEFULLY THIS WEEKENDS 50'S TEMPS WILL MELT THE REST!!

THE LOOK DOWN THE WHOLE DRIVEWAY FROM ANGIE'S HOUSE...ABOUT 4 INCHES THICK SOLID ICE. YOU CAN SEE ITS IN THE SHADE ALLDAY TOO. =(

WE DIDNT THINK HE WOULD.......BUT I JUST HAPPENED TO LOOK OVER AND HE WAS ALMOST CRYING. HE DRANK 2 GLASSES OF POP AND ATE NACHOS WITH SOURCREAM ON THEM TO TRY AND COOL HIS MOUTH AND TONGUE DOWN. I KNOW I DONT LIKE ANYTHING HOT AT ALL!!
