Bathroom Floor Trim

We did the floor trim today. Still need to touch up the few nails we had to use with white paint though. I also got some new tan bath rugs.

A Splash of Color for Bathroom

I added a touch of color to the bathroom today.
matching soap dish, cup and toothbrush holder to the shower curtain

got new curtain, clock, rugs and shower curtain and matching ceramic accessory set.

We finished the bathroom today!!!! I may still add new colored curtains, some border around the top the tile or pics for more color. :)

the new exhaust fan and light ....the main reason for this whole project. Oh need new shower curtain too, just have white liner right now.

Bathroom update

We finished with painting tonight. We painted the ceiling, trim, doors and cabinets all this week and the walls tonight. We are putting all the new hardware and panels back on the cabinets tomorrow and hopefully the tile on the floor too.

So we will have a complete new bathroom....from ceiling to floor!!!!! ;)

Two new additions to pet family

We got the boys new hamsters today. Since their other one passed away.

This is Ace ...Tanner's with Sissy watching him. Ace is very hyper....climbing all over that cage!
This is Scribbles....Drew's hamster. He is alittle chunkier. :)
Both together....think they are brothers. they were both in same cage together at Pet Smart too. They were sleeping ontop each other at store and tonight in the same house. Be my luck one is a girl and we'll have a bunch lil hamsters soon! lol
We combined two houses together, but need to buy some more tubing so we can connect more tubes from cage to cage besides the one.

Day 2 of bathroom project

We got up early and washed down the glue of the walls......then went to Home Depot bout 9 this morning and got the exhaust fan / light, stucco, paint and supplies. I picked out the color Summer Jasmine for the paint. keep posted to see what color it is!

we got the stucco put on the walls... probably sand tomorrow night.

Heres the exhaust fan without the light cover on. We have to take it back down to paint so we didnt put cover on yet.

Day 1 on upstairs bathroom project

The mildew - mold ...the reason I started this project, putting an exhaust fan in too. This house never had one! Ive washed this mold off serveral times. :(

It was in corners and lil on ceiling. Hopefully exhaust fan will take care of this.

Cleaning Out.....Like Beth & Christy

I have also been doing some rearranging and cleaning out.

Did boys toys, toy boxes, games, clothes and bedrooms before Christmas... and kitchen cupboards and countertops last weekend. That counter is one big catch all!

I also ordered new kitchen rugs too and got them today!

Suzie likes using my frog as a pillow... awwww she was snoring here.

I think the bathroom is my next project!! want to add an exhaust fan, then repaint and border. We've never had a fan and the corners are starting to mildew. uugh

Maybe one day I'll get another half bath downstairs too??????

Drews "12"

Drew turned 12 yesterday!! Happy Birthday Bub! :)

We let him pick where to go for supper.... guess where he chose? McDonalds. lol

Then we went to DQ for Blizzards. yummoooooo

We also went to Apple Bees last weekend for his big meal.

He got his present early.... a DSI. We might go swimming this weekend too?

Its hard to believe he will be in Junior High next year. They grow up to fast!!

Snow in Georgia!

Scott's brother Shawn took this picture this morning. They got 7 inches snow lastnight. They live in Dacula, Georgia.....which is North East of Atlanta.

It's kinda pretty but they arent use to this at all. lol

Cookies in a Jar

Drew and his 6th grade classes made these cute Chocolate Chip Cookie Jars for a Christmas craft.
I just got the chance to make them.

Here you can see how they layered it.... all I had to add was a cup of butter, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Finished product..... they were YUMMY, but only made 2 dozen.
I could have eaten them all. lol ;)

More Human....

I swear Suzie is more human than dog. She was holding Tanner's Hamster Webkinz.
