Scott and I ventured to Walmart yesterday morning at 4:45. This was my first and probably last Black Friday shopping experience.
It was total chaos!! There were so many people there that they were parking in Burger Kings parking lot.
We didnt get any of the Wii or Nintendo DS games we wanted either. =(
We did get my camara sd card, some jeans, pj's and a small chopper though. lol
I was surprised they had every cash register open, and they were all backed up into the clothes too.
One of the employees said people were waiting by the big things at 2:00 in the morning. CRAZY!!
Then they had a 34 year old guy get trampled to death in NewYork at Walmart.
The crowd broke down the doors trying to get in. Thats just plain insane to save a few dollars.

Hi everyone!
I got a clean bill of health at my 6 week check-up today.
I can go back to my regular daily routines and exercising.
HOORAY =)
He didnt start me on any HRT ( hormone replacement therapy ) today as we thought.
He said I MAY NOT need to take anything. But that if I get real moody - emotional, have alot of hot flashes or night sweats then to call him back.
SO FAR SO GOOD SO WE WILL SEE.......=) LOL

ICY COLD MORNING...
Its only November 18th and we have snow & ice!!!!!
We didnt get much snow, but it was 27 degrees and solid ice this morning here. WTNS said this was a record low temp for this time of year!
Riverview and Tri-Valley were on 2 hr delays, but not us! =(
Ella's bus driver said they had a bus go sideways on cr 16 this morning. There were alot of wrecks everywhere else too. Ella didnt get on the bus til 9:15 this morning and its usually about 8:50.
Here's our driveway and side yard about 10:00, I didnt think about taking them earlier or one of Walnut Street being solid ice.

LUCKY THE DOG
This is well worth the read!!!
Anyone who has pets will really like this. You'll like it even if you don't and you may even decide you need one!
Mary and her husband Jim had a dog named 'Lucky.' Lucky was a real character. Whenever Mary and Jim had company come for a weekend visit they would warn their friends to not leave their luggage open because Lucky would help himself to whatever struck his fancy. Inevitably, someone would forget and something would come up missing. Mary or Jim would go to Lucky's toy box in the basement and there the treasure would be, amid all of Lucky's other favorite toys. Lucky always stashed his finds in his toy box and he was very particular that his toys stay in the box.
It happened that Mary found out she had breast cancer. Something told her she was going to die of this disease . . . in fact, she was just sure it was fatal. She scheduled the double mastectomy, fear riding her shoulders. The night before she was to go to the hospital she cuddled with Lucky. A thought struck her . . . what would happen to Lucky? Although the three-year-old dog liked Jim, he was Mary's dog through and through. If I die, Lucky will be abandoned, Mary thought. He won't understand that I didn't want to leave him. The thought made her sadder than thinking of her own death. The double mastectomy was harder on Mary than her doctors had anticipated and Mary was hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim took Lucky for his evening walk faithfully, but the little dog just drooped, whining and miserable. Finally the day came for Mary to leave the hospital. When she arrived home, Mary was so exhausted she couldn't even make it up the steps to her bedroom. Jim made his wife comfortable on the couch and left her to nap. Lucky stood watching Mary but he didn't come to her when she called. It made Mary sad but sleep soon overcame her and she dozed. When Mary woke for a second she couldn't understand what was wrong. She couldn't move her head and her body felt heavy and hot. But panic soon gave way to laughter when Mary realized the problem. She was covered, literally blanketed, with every treasure Lucky owned! While she had slept, the sorrowing dog had made trip after trip to the basement bringing his beloved mistress all his favorite things in life. He had covered her with his love. Mary forgot about dying. Instead she and Lucky began living again, walking further and further together every day. It's been 12 years now and Mary is still cancer-free. Lucky? He still steals treasures and stashes them in his toy box but Mary remains his greatest treasure.
Remember . . . live every day to the fullest. Each minute is a blessing from God. And never forget . . . the people who make a difference in our lives are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care for us.
If you see someone without a smile today give them one of yours! Live simply. Love seriously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God!!

NOAH'S ARK REPLICA
I received this story as an email this morning and thought it was the neatest idea. Simply amazing details!! Just had to share it with everyone!
I'd love to be able to go see it in person! The boys would really enjoy it too.
Working Replica of Noah's Ark Opened In SCHAGEN Netherlands. The massive central door in the side of Noah's Ark was opened to the first crowd of curious townsfolk to behold the wonder. Of course, it's only a replica of the Biblical Ark , built by Dutch Creationist Johan Huibers as a testament to his faith in the literal truth of the Bible.
On the uncovered top deck - not quite ready in time for the opening - will come a petting zoo, with baby lambs, chickens, goats, and one camel.
There is enough space near the keel for a 50 seat film theater, where kids can watch a video that tells the story of Noah and his ark.

Of course, it's only a replica of the Biblical Ark , built by Dutch Creationist Johan Huibers as a testament to his faith in the literal truth of the Bible.
A contractor by trade, Huibers built the ark of cedar and pine. Biblical Scholars debate exactly what the wood used by Noah would have been. Huibers did the work mostly with his own hands, using modern tools and with occasional help from his son Roy. Construction began in May 2005.
The ark is 150 cubits long, 30cubits high and 20 cubits wide. That's two-thirds the length of a football field and as high as a three-story house. Life-size models of giraffes, elephants, lions, crocodiles, zebras, bison and other animals greet visitors as they arrive in the main hold.On the uncovered top deck - not quite ready in time for the opening - will come a petting zoo, with baby lambs, chickens, goats, and one camel.
