Tanner got retainer spacer

Tanner went few weeks ago and got a mold of his lower teeth done.
He went today and got his fitted retainer - spacer put in. Tanner said it hurt!
Dr. says his mouth is crowed and needs to make room for other teeth. The retainer runs along behind his the inside of his front teeth and inbetween his back on each side. Almost like braces!

Chef Tanner hits front page of Tribune again!!!

Tanner's 4th grade English Class - Mrs. Teti had a Apple Jacquette Bake Off!
They have been reading stories and trying things that are in the stories. They have tried Molasses water and Buffalo jerky. They just read The Blue Moose - Apple Jacquette, and couldn't find a recipe for it. So Mrs. Teti decided to have a Bake-off Contest to make Jacquette.
A Bakery in PA by the name Jacquette Bakery is going to make the winning entry and sell it in their store. How cool is that!!

Here is Tanner presenting the judges with his entry Caramel Apple Jacquette!  Mr. Casey, Mrs. Schlegel and Mrs. Wolfgang were the judges.

This is a pic like was on front page of The Tribune.

Mrs. Teti and all 9 students that entered The Bake-off

The top three winners. In no random order. They never said who was first, second and third.
Dylan Wallace, Tanner and Adrianne Grewell.

My new swimsuit

This is my new swimsuit. I love the rich - earthy colors.

I went with the skirted bottom to cover my thighs  and bottom alittle more. :)

Hopefully since the weather is breaking ... I can start walking again and lose some the weight I've gained back this winter.

Suzie is Sick?? and Taxes!

Suzie started a real deep choking cough lastnight about 8:00 and it last around 2 hours straight, then a few times during the night. poor girl!
I called the vet this morning and couldnt get her in til 4:30 tonight.
They tested her blood for heart worms and it came back negative. I still got her 6 monthes supply of preventative pills.
Dr Reddick thinks she irratated her trachea somehow. She put her on 3 pills. 1 for antibiotic, 1 cough and 1 inflammation.
She didn't start coughing til after she was outside barking at an amish buggy with horse at Given Dawson lastnight. So maybe she stripped her vocal passage then?? Dang... $132 and a hour later, we were heading home.

I think we ought to be able to claim atleast 1 pet as a dependant on our taxes!!!! They are loved and treated just like a kid and cost more at doctor too!

What do you all think????

Snoozing Suzie

Suzie stuck her nose inside Drew's Snuggie hole. She was even snoring and didn't budge when I took these pics the other night. She must of really been zonked!
How cute is this?? awwww

Wizzard 101 on new laptop

We bought the boys a new laptop. they were always on mine playing this game!! :(

Playing Wizzard 101....they both got accounts and have bought wizzard cards to upgrade their characters and be able to communicate with other players.
This is the home screen of Wizzard 101. I think its another phase, kinda like Webkinz, they are going through.

Tanner doing battle and talking to Brandon.
Tanner's wizzard "Chris Soulsword" - You customize his name, costume, hair, eyes everything. You make friends, battle, cast spells, garden and can buy pets.

Guess kinda like a kids facebook?? IDK ... i just know they spend alot of hours on there. lol

Sock n Underwear Snatcher!

Sissy will take all your socks and underwear out of your drawer if you forget to close it all the way! lol
I noticed a few weeks ago a few pair of Scotts socks were on the floor....wondered how they got there?? Then I saw her pawing in it again the other morning.
Now I know!!

This is how I found Tanner's this morning. See his top drawer is open.

Every single pair of his socks and boxers were on the floor! :( one pair was almost out in the hallway.
Here I asked her if she did this and she meowed " It wasn't me"!! lmao :P

Bathroom update

We finished with painting tonight. We painted the ceiling, trim, doors and cabinets all this week and the walls tonight. We are putting all the new hardware and panels back on the cabinets tomorrow and hopefully the tile on the floor too.

So we will have a complete new bathroom....from ceiling to floor!!!!! ;)

Summer Jasmine is color on the walls. White trim and ceilings.
reason we are replacing tile...lil cracks and peeling
This is a piece of new tile, whitish with gray marble to match the countertops and tiles around bottom of walls.

Two new additions to pet family

We got the boys new hamsters today. Since their other one passed away.

This is Ace ...Tanner's with Sissy watching him. Ace is very hyper....climbing all over that cage!
This is Scribbles....Drew's hamster. He is alittle chunkier. :)
Both together....think they are brothers. they were both in same cage together at Pet Smart too. They were sleeping ontop each other at store and tonight in the same house. Be my luck one is a girl and we'll have a bunch lil hamsters soon! lol
We combined two houses together, but need to buy some more tubing so we can connect more tubes from cage to cage besides the one.
