Sissy after Tanner and I gave her a flea bath. She did good for first time getting a bath! She just kept trying to get out and meowing. She never tried to scratch us. Thank god she's not declawed. Saw few fleas on her ... must got from dogs.

My mom had a heart catherization done Wednesday. She ended up having to get to stints and have her artery repaired. She had 90% blockage! That makes her 3 stints now.
She goes back the 28th to the artery doctor to see about getting her neck artery surgery done. Thats what started all this. Failed stress test, so had to have catherization done.

I took her up some cookies tonight and she is mega black and blue where they went in her groin area. ouchy

Grandma Kathy got the boys this teacup poodle for an early Christmas present! Kathy also got the boy runt of the litter.We named her Daisy! She's so small, black and adorable!! She wont get very big. Her mom weighs 3 lbs and dad 7.

Tanner is a Tribune Photogenic Kid!
This was the 2nd time for 9-11 also.
He passed out Ribbon Magnets at the Court Square 9-11 Ceremony yesterday, from his 5th grade Central Elementary class.

Actually Dustin is Tammy Dovenbarger's son, which Tammy is married to Doug... Scott's Uncle.
Tanner didn't know that either and have never met him before.
Scott's stepmom Kathy told me tonight when I sent her this pic.

While passing out ribbons this Retired Veteran, Bob Jones said "young gentleman could you please tie my shoe for me... I have a steel plate in my leg and can't bend to do it" Tanner said sure. The Veteran then told him his generosity was much appreciated!! :)

I'm so proud of him!! I have two wonderful sons!!!!

This is a piece of The World Trade Center. Our City Fire Department filled out a paper to receive a piece and picked it up in April.

The 2nd guy from the right is my Uncle Jerry Green. He is a retired Army Sgt. He does all the parades and Military Funerals and Ceremonies.

WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO????? went fast didn't it!

It's hard to believe Drew is in 7th grade this year! And at the High School too. I've had a harder time dealing with it than him. He's growing up! :(
Only trouble he's had is with his locker combination. He said its EVIL. omg too funny! We bought one so he could practice over the weekend.
He was also recommended for the Pre-Algebra math class. They picked like 8 kids from Central and Drew was one of them. SWEET. He was a straight A student last year though.
He also has to ride a bus to n from school.
I take him to school or the bus stop n he walks home from bus stop. Because Im at work til 5:00. Bancroft park is the closest bus stop from where we live. There or City Hall...
Why don't they have one at Central School?? Crazy Huh!
I went to River View, so we had a seperate Jr High.

Tanner and I rode The Top Thrill Dragster! WOW and OMG... what a rush! 120 mph in less than 4 sec.

He was glad he rode it, after the initial shock of taking off that fast! lol

Check out his face on take off. u can't see mine because of jerk in fronts arms up. Which we were told not to do!! Then he's smiling on 2nd landing pic!

Tanner n I also rode the Millenium Force. Along with The Raptor, Iron Dragon and rides Scott n Drew rode.

Scaredy Cats!! They only rode the Mine ride - that ride beats you to death, Old cars & Horses.

Vacation night @ Clippers VS Braves Game

Monday night we went to the Columbus Clippers VS Gwinette Braves Baseball Game!

It was $1 each night for hotdogs, popcorn, small pop and icecream sandwiches. Drew eating hotdog n Tanner popcorn.

LOL... Hotdog Boys! Mustard one the race during inning change again. They have 3 hotdogs - people that race ... ketchup, mustard and relish. This win made Mustard 19, Ketchup has 9 and Relish 8 so far for the season.

Here is a close-up of the bat Ed Lucas broke during warm up practice. Then he tossed the handle up on the dugout and then got the big part and rolled it up too :) I walked down to get it. Glad we got their early so noone was infront of us yet!

Saturday we power washed the house and Sunday morning re-stained with Thompson water treatment, the front porch deck. Next is touching up the paint on the railing and staining the back porch.

Bee Stings Me on Bike

Saturday we went for a big bike ride with a few other couples.
We'll needless to say on the way coming out 83 toward home a bee flew in my spaghetti strap top stinging me 6 times!!
OMFG did that hurt. I bout fell off bike and almost made use wreck squirming and flashing shirt trying to get it out! It just kept stinging me! I never did see what kind it was. Im allergic to wasp too. So I made sure to take some Benadryl when i got home. Its still swelled today. :(

The Fish Are Finally in Pond!!

Finally our finished pond!!

Yesterday, after Tanner's Soccer game, we put the fish back outside in the new pond.

They all made it thru the winter in the basement! YEA :)
This pond is deeper and bigger, so we should be able to leave them in this winter without them freezing and dying??

What awesome weather we've had for the boys end of school fieldtrips!!

Mother's Day Weekend

What a nice weekend! We rode the bike some and took my mom out to eat for Mother's Day supper Saturday. Went to Red Lobster but they had 1-2 hr wait, bc of prom and Mother's Day together. So we went to Golden Corral instead.

Scott n the boys got me 2 frogs n boys made me cards at school. I just love their homemade cards!!

I got 2 more frogs for my pond area. Yea!!! gotta love frogs!!

Mother's Day morning Scott n boys went fishing while I went to Walmart. lol Then we had co-ed softball practice at 3. The weather has been gorgeous!!

Bad Napa Day!!

WOW... what a bad wreck! Corey Saylor was driving East on 16 from Ross Trucking and went to turn right on tr 288, to deliver to Reisser Farm when a flat bed semi, hauling steel, struck him from behind. The semi-driver said he didnt see his turnsignal?? But the guy following the semi said that he (semi-driver) never even hit his brakes!! So we dont know what he was doing. sleeping, talking on cell, texting??

Corey luckily only got a lil road rash burn on his right forearm from the seatbelt when the seat broke throwing him back.
From the look of this wreck and van it could have been ALOT worse. Thank god he was ok.... prob have some whiplash in few days!!

Tanner went few weeks ago and got a mold of his lower teeth done.
He went today and got his fitted retainer - spacer put in. Tanner said it hurt!
Dr. says his mouth is crowed and needs to make room for other teeth. The retainer runs along behind his the inside of his front teeth and inbetween his back on each side. Almost like braces!

Tanner's 4th grade English Class - Mrs. Teti had a Apple Jacquette Bake Off!
They have been reading stories and trying things that are in the stories. They have tried Molasses water and Buffalo jerky. They just read The Blue Moose - Apple Jacquette, and couldn't find a recipe for it. So Mrs. Teti decided to have a Bake-off Contest to make Jacquette.
A Bakery in PA by the name Jacquette Bakery is going to make the winning entry and sell it in their store. How cool is that!!

I went with the skirted bottom to cover my thighs and bottom alittle more. :)

Hopefully since the weather is breaking ... I can start walking again and lose some the weight I've gained back this winter.

Suzie is Sick?? and Taxes!

Suzie started a real deep choking cough lastnight about 8:00 and it last around 2 hours straight, then a few times during the night. poor girl!
I called the vet this morning and couldnt get her in til 4:30 tonight.
They tested her blood for heart worms and it came back negative. I still got her 6 monthes supply of preventative pills.
Dr Reddick thinks she irratated her trachea somehow. She put her on 3 pills. 1 for antibiotic, 1 cough and 1 inflammation.
She didn't start coughing til after she was outside barking at an amish buggy with horse at Given Dawson lastnight. So maybe she stripped her vocal passage then?? Dang... $132 and a hour later, we were heading home.

I think we ought to be able to claim atleast 1 pet as a dependant on our taxes!!!! They are loved and treated just like a kid and cost more at doctor too!

What do you all think????

We bought the boys a new laptop. they were always on mine playing this game!! :(

Playing Wizzard 101....they both got accounts and have bought wizzard cards to upgrade their characters and be able to communicate with other players.
This is the home screen of Wizzard 101. I think its another phase, kinda like Webkinz, they are going through.

Bathroom update

We finished with painting tonight. We painted the ceiling, trim, doors and cabinets all this week and the walls tonight. We are putting all the new hardware and panels back on the cabinets tomorrow and hopefully the tile on the floor too.

So we will have a complete new bathroom....from ceiling to floor!!!!! ;)

Two new additions to pet family

We got the boys new hamsters today. Since their other one passed away.

This is Ace ...Tanner's with Sissy watching him. Ace is very hyper....climbing all over that cage!
This is Scribbles....Drew's hamster. He is alittle chunkier. :)
Both together....think they are brothers. they were both in same cage together at Pet Smart too. They were sleeping ontop each other at store and tonight in the same house. Be my luck one is a girl and we'll have a bunch lil hamsters soon! lol
We combined two houses together, but need to buy some more tubing so we can connect more tubes from cage to cage besides the one.

Day 2 of bathroom project

We got up early and washed down the glue of the walls......then went to Home Depot bout 9 this morning and got the exhaust fan / light, stucco, paint and supplies. I picked out the color Summer Jasmine for the paint. keep posted to see what color it is!

we got the stucco put on the walls... probably sand tomorrow night.

I have also been doing some rearranging and cleaning out.

Did boys toys, toy boxes, games, clothes and bedrooms before Christmas... and kitchen cupboards and countertops last weekend. That counter is one big catch all!

I also ordered new kitchen rugs too and got them today!

Drew and his 6th grade classes made these cute Chocolate Chip Cookie Jars for a Christmas craft.
I just got the chance to make them.

Here you can see how they layered it.... all I had to add was a cup of butter, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Finished product..... they were YUMMY, but only made 2 dozen.
I could have eaten them all. lol ;)

R.I.P Squeak

We had a lil hamster funeral tonight.... :(

I went to feed Squeak around 12:30 today and found him passed away. poor lil guy outlived his life expectancy though.

I waited til the boys got home to tell them. They went to the movie Guillivers Travel in Zanesville with Macy.

Tanner layed him on tissue paper and then I wrapped him up, put him in a box and wrote R.I.P Squeak on it.
We buried him in the back yard by the building.

Tanner shoveled the first couple scoops dirt to bury him.

Drew, Tanner and Peyton were outside shooting the airsoft guns and Peyton shot at Drew almost hitting his eye. I told them when they got them for Christmas not to shoot at a person and to always wear glasses. Well they broke 2 rules....Drew didnt have glasses on and Peyton shot at him! ugggh kids
Thank god it didnt hit his eye! pretty darn close though.

We told them next time the guns will be taken!!!

The boys had to go to Walmart today and use their gift cards they got for Christmas. They were burning a hole in their wallets. lol kids!! They got $70 each in Walmart gc and cash.
Tanner bought another soft pellet gun, a semi auto and a big bottle of glow in dark pellets.
Drew bought a ds game " Golden Sun ... dark dawn".
I also got some 50% off Christmas candy and items. :}

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Wow what an early morning.... The boys were up by 4:30, even though we said they were waiting til 7 to open gifts. They were so excited this year for some reason, and they knew we were Santa this year too??

They got most the things they wanted... board games, soft air guns, ds game, dsi points & cases, xbox 360 & ps2 games, havoc air helicopter, webkinz, beyblades and battle arena.
We got the boys Justin Beiber cards for their stockings as a joke...lol
Here Drew is shooting a Justin card. They were going to use them for air soft target practice.
Tanner with all his things.... stuff in middle was to both them.
Drew with all his things. They both say their fav gift is the air-soft pellet gun kit. I just hope they dont shoot each other with them!!
Scott with his tool box he wanted. It has top tool box with tray and bottom bigger compartment for like impact gun, and also has wheels and pulling handle ( kinda like a suitcase).

Christmas Eve

I made a double batch roll out sugar cookies all morning .... then Drew helped me ice them around 1:00. wow been busy with candy making this year. 5 batches fudge and 3 batches cut out sugar cookies.
Scott had to work til 12, then had his company Christmas Party. So, the boys, Suzie and I went thru McDonalds drive thru and got 50 pc nugget meal with of course their famous sweet teas! lol

We stayed home all evening and then watched Santa Buddies together as a family tonight on Disney. What a cute movie!! first time every watching it.

boys must have been pretty good.....got about 10 presents each and an early present....a xbox 360 a few weeks ago. We sold our whole Wii bundle and got xbox.
The Stockings all hung by the chimney with care, and filled to the top with goodies!

My Van is Like New Again!

My van is like new again!!! Yea

This our van torn apart to replace the head gaskets.
Holy Cow....Scott spent like 3 hours lastnight tearing it down and put it back together today for almost 7 hours, but he also tuned it up - plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, air filter, oil change and replaced sway bar links.
I went down around 11 and helped him do the sway bar links and then went and got our lunches.
The boys were at the library for the Saturday... Dual Card Club, for Yu-gi-oh and Magic The Gathering cards. They meet every Saturday at library from 11-2.
